“I went to Porto’s restaurant out in Glendale, and just to talk to the owner was inspiring. It’s a bakery and his parents had started the business and passed it on to him, and he’s a minority and it made me feel so good to see this young man and he had his bakery so clean, and we presented the [Ecolab Science Certified] seal to him. To eat his pastries, and see how the workers were happy, the customers were happy, it was so clean, it was just a mind-blowing experience, and I was so happy to be a part of that. You want to see entrepreneurs who are taking this seriously to keep their customers safer and keep their employees safer at the same time, so Porto’s was a great example of how Ecolab is helping entrepreneurs who are doing a good job, and it’s not just that one Porto’s, he has a few around the city of Los Angeles,” Magic Johnson told Larry Olmstead of Forbes.
